Local & Regional Committees
Because the Central Division maintains a single office to serve the 40 counties in central and eastern Pennsylvania, local and regional committees are crucial to the successful functioning of the organization. The respected business and community leaders who serve on these committees provide PEL with a local presence and validate the credibility of the organization by their association with PEL. These committees help ensure that PEL receives the guidance and suggestions of its members, assist in establishing policies and objectives for PEL research, and help in identifying and evaluating problems confronting governments in their areas.
